Sometimes, all it takes is a little change in perspective.
Perspective Banana reminds us that the way we look at something can change everything. Flip a frown upside down and suddenly the very same banana is smiling back at you.
With its hand-painted bananas, soft peach background and bold hand-drawn lettering, this fun art print brings a little humour and optimism to bedrooms, living rooms, creative spaces and anywhere that could use a reminder not to take life too seriously.
Story Behind the Print
When my youngest daughter first started school, she wanted to take a banana for fruit break every day so she could make a happy face and a sad face with it before eating it.
Her fruit needed to be labelled with her name, so I would write it on one side of the banana and draw a little smile on the other. Something so ordinary became a tiny daily game, just by turning it around.
I loved the simplicity of that idea. The exact same banana could be a frown or a smile depending on which way you looked at it.
Perspective Banana was inspired by this little daily activity. Sometimes all it takes is a quick flip to see something differently, and I love that something so ordinary could become a reminder to look at life from another perspective.
Materials
Premium Giclée Fine Art Prints
Our prints are produced using the Giclée printing method, a high-quality fine art process that delivers rich colour depth and long-lasting vibrancy. They are printed on 200 gsm heavyweight archival paper with a lightly textured matte finish that complements our artwork beautifully.Sustainably Sourced Frames
Our frames are made from real, sustainably sourced timber, using a light natural wood (often pine or similar). Each frame has its own unique grain and tone, meaning subtle variations in colour and texture are part of its natural character. Over time, gentle changes due to ageing and light exposure can add character to your piece.- Framed images shown are for reference only. Please check the frame colour swatch for the most accurate representation.
- Instead of fragile glass, we use durable Perspex, making frames safer and easier to handle.
- Frames are reusable! Our prints are produced in standard A2, A3, A4 and A5 sizes, allowing you to swap artwork easily.
- Poster Hangers offer a flexible display option and make changing prints quick and easy. Please note: hangers cover approximately 1.5 cm at the top and bottom, making them best suited to borderless prints.
Colours and materials may vary slightly from what you see on your screen due to display differences.
To ensure authenticity and copyright protection, a small Brightkind logo is subtly placed in the bottom right corner of each print.
