Hello Sunshine – Art Print

• Story Behind the Print

Sunshine is one of those wonderfully simple themes that seems to belong in a child’s room. It feels warm, happy and hopeful, without needing to say a single word.

I had seen plenty of beautiful sun prints for nurseries and wanted to create my own version that felt playful and unmistakably Brightkind. I experimented with different faces, angles, wavy rays and compositions before coming back to something much simpler.

I wanted the finished artwork to feel gender-neutral and cheerful without being overly babyish. Something I could imagine choosing for a nursery, but that would still feel at home in the room of a curious, playful child.

The slightly imperfect hand-painted rays give it a sense of movement and personality, while the tiny smiling face keeps it sweet and quietly joyful. I also love how naturally it sits alongside Imagination Clouds, with both prints celebrating the bright, imaginative world of childhood.

Hello Sunshine is ultimately just that: a happy little piece of sunshine for the wall.

• Materials

  Premium Giclée Fine Art Prints
Our prints are produced using the Giclée printing method, a high-quality fine art process that delivers rich colour depth and long-lasting vibrancy. They are printed on 200 gsm heavyweight archival paper with a lightly textured matte finish that complements our artwork beautifully.

  Sustainably Sourced Frames
Our frames are made from real, sustainably sourced timber, using a light natural wood (often pine or similar). Each frame has its own unique grain and tone, meaning subtle variations in colour and texture are part of its natural character. Over time, gentle changes due to ageing and light exposure can add character to your piece.

  • Framed images shown are for reference only. Please check the frame colour swatch for the most accurate representation.
  • Instead of fragile glass, we use durable Perspex, making frames safer and easier to handle.
  • Frames are reusable! Our prints are produced in standard A2, A3, A4 and A5 sizes, allowing you to swap artwork easily.
  • Poster Hangers offer a flexible display option and make changing prints quick and easy. Please note: hangers cover approximately 1.5 cm at the top and bottom, making them best suited to borderless prints.

Colours and materials may vary slightly from what you see on your screen due to display differences.

To ensure authenticity and copyright protection, a small Brightkind logo is subtly placed in the bottom right corner of each print.
