In This House We Narrate the Dogs Thoughts. Because every dog has opinions… and in this house, we hear all of them.
This playful, hand-lettered print celebrates the little quirks that make a house feel like home — the running commentary, the side-eyes, and the moments that turn into family jokes. Featuring a sweet (and slightly suspicious) dog illustration, it’s a lighthearted piece designed to bring smiles to everyday spaces.

Story Behind the Print
We have two dachshunds in our family, named Luna and Skye, each with very different personalities.
Skye is the mischievous one, always up to something. But Luna… Luna is pure expression. She delivers multiple side-eyes a day (usually directed at me), and has a level of personality and attitude that feels almost human — the very thing I tried to capture in this illustration.
Every morning, she “talks” to my husband like she’s a husky, carrying on in her own little language. Somewhere along the way, we started stepping in and narrating what she must be saying — and it quickly became one of those small, silly family rituals that makes everyday life feel special. We even joke that she calls him “master”, because she’s the most obedient of all our dogs.
This print is a celebration of those little moments — the quirks, the personalities, and the way our pets become such a big, expressive part of our lives.

Our prints are produced using the Giclée printing method, a high-quality fine art process that delivers rich colour depth and long-lasting vibrancy. They are printed on 200 gsm heavyweight archival paper with a lightly textured matte finish that complements our artwork beautifully.Sustainably Sourced Frames

- Instead of fragile glass, we use durable Perspex, making frames safer and easier to handle.
- Frames are reusable! Our prints are produced in standard A2, A3, A4 and A5 sizes, allowing you to swap artwork easily.
- Poster Hangers offer a flexible display option and make changing prints quick and easy. Please note: hangers cover approximately 1.5 cm at the top and bottom, making them best suited to borderless prints.

To ensure authenticity and copyright protection, a small Brightkind logo is subtly placed in the bottom right corner of each print.
