Sisters Make the Best Friends celebrates the wonderful, unique relationship between sisters, part family, part friendship and a little bit of everything in between.
The hand-lettered words Sisters and Friends are drawn from opposite perspectives, creating a playful illusion that reflects how the two can be interchangeable. With its dreamy pink, purple and blue colours, bold lettering and scattered stars, this art print is a colourful celebration of sisterhood.
A meaningful addition to a shared girls’ bedroom, tween or teen space, it’s a lovely reminder of the special friendship that can grow between sisters through all of life’s little moments.
Story Behind the Print
As a child, I always wished I had a sister. I grew up watching the special bonds my friends shared with their sisters, and I hoped that one day I’d get to experience that through my own children. To me, the bond between sisters always seemed like one of the closest relationships you could have, second only to twins (although I don’t think I could have handled twins!).
I was lucky enough to have two girls who share the most beautiful friendship. Of course, they still have fights, but they also have sleepovers together on the sofa bed, make bracelets for each other and share countless little adventures. It’s these everyday moments that I hope they’ll look back on fondly when they’re older.
I designed and hand-lettered Sisters Make the Best Friends around the idea that the words ‘sisters’ and ‘friends’ are interchangeable. By drawing the words from opposite perspectives, I wanted to create something that reflected how their relationship is both. Now and then, I hope it’s a little reminder of how lucky they are to have each other, and a friendship they’ll carry with them throughout their lives.
Materials
Premium Giclée Fine Art Prints
Our prints are produced using the Giclée printing method, a high-quality fine art process that delivers rich colour depth and long-lasting vibrancy. They are printed on 200 gsm heavyweight archival paper with a lightly textured matte finish that complements our artwork beautifully.Sustainably Sourced Frames
Our frames are made from real, sustainably sourced timber, using a light natural wood (often pine or similar). Each frame has its own unique grain and tone, meaning subtle variations in colour and texture are part of its natural character. Over time, gentle changes due to ageing and light exposure can add character to your piece.- Framed images shown are for reference only. - Instead of fragile glass, we use durable Perspex, making frames safer and easier to handle.
- Frames are reusable! Our prints are produced in standard A2, A3, A4 and A5 sizes, allowing you to swap artwork easily.
- Poster Hangers offer a flexible display option and make changing prints quick and easy. Please note: hangers cover approximately 1.5 cm at the top and bottom, making them best suited to borderless prints.

To ensure authenticity and copyright protection, a small Brightkind logo is subtly placed in the bottom right corner of each print.

- A3 and A2 prints are carefully rolled and shipped in a tube.
- Framed prints arrive display-ready, securely packaged with corner guards, additional cardboard protection, and a heavy-duty shipping box.
