At Brightkind, we believe a child’s imagination is their greatest superpower. That’s why we design a range of playful and inspiring prints and posters that bring magic to their spaces—nurturing creativity, curiosity, and a sense of wonder in every room.
Meet the designer
As a young girl growing up in a small country town, Jacqui nurtured her talent for illustration and storytelling. Her boundless imagination transformed the farm animals she interacted with into vibrant, quirky characters that breathed life into the stories she created. By the age of 15, she had won more than 20 awards for her art. This motivated her to pursue a career in the creative arts and she went onto become a graphic designer.
Jacqui’s unique creative process is inspired by the natural world that surrounds her, as well as the magical memories of her childhood.
Her greatest influence is undoubtedly her two young daughters, aged 6 and 8. When they asked her to paint forest animals and flowers for their bedroom walls, she knew she had rekindled her creative fire. With a deep love for art and a desire to share it with others, she founded Brightkind, a company dedicated to creating magical and inspiring pieces for families to enjoy.

Indi, 6
Indi has a profound appreciation for the small wonders of the world, and her keen eye for detail is evident in her love for collecting little treasures wherever she goes. She finds joy in simple things, like the delicate movements of snails and the intricate beauty of little insects.
Ayla, 8
Ayla aspires to be a florist and artist when she grows up. She loves flowers, drawing and reading Roald Dahl novels. With an old soul and a classic style, Ayla radiates a unique charm. It’s inspiring to see a young person like Ayla who is so driven and focused on achieving her goals.
