Meet the designer
Illustrator, lettering artist, and founder of Brightkind
I began my career in graphic design, eventually becoming a creative director. But over time, I realised I’d drifted from what I loved to do most – drawing and creating by hand.
Motherhood brought me back to it. Watching my daughters make art freely reminded me of the joy in creating without rules. When they asked me to draw something for their bedroom walls, it sparked an idea.
I began illustrating animals and hand-lettered words that felt uplifting. Those early sketches grew into a collection of wall art designed to nurture creativity, confidence, and calm.
Each piece is hand-drawn and thoughtfully designed to grow with a child, blending playful imagery with gentle messages. At Brightkind, I focus on quality, originality, and meaningful design, because I believe the art around a child can help their imagination thrive.

Ayla aspires to be a florist and artist when she grows up. She loves flowers, drawing and reading Roald Dahl novels. With an old soul and a classic style, Ayla radiates a unique charm. It’s inspiring to see a young person like Ayla who is so driven and focused on achieving her goals.
Indi, 6
Indi has a profound appreciation for the small wonders of the world, and her keen eye for detail is evident in her love for collecting little treasures wherever she goes. She finds joy in simple things, like the delicate movements of snails and the intricate beauty of little insects.
